Expressions of Interest

Updated: Jan 19, 2023

Attention Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander netball players living in south-east Queensland (or willing to relocate) who aspire to become a future Australian Netball Diamond.

Expressions of interest are welcome (open midday on 2 January 2023 and close midday on 21 January 2023) to participate in the Sport, Culture and Leadership Academy (SCALA)'s 3-week training camp under our Indigenous Diamonds Pathway Program (IDPP).

On-court netball training and strength and conditioning sessions will be held on Mondays and Fridays during February 2023, and participating in SCALA's IDPP training camp is a precursor to attending trials. All participants will be eligible to register their interest to trial for selection into our all-Indigenous elite netball squad, leading to your opportunity to be named as one of SCALA's Indigenous Diamonds team members who will compete in EITHER the Elite Premier League at Mt Warren Park in Beenleigh OR the Greater Brisbane Netball League (GBNL) at Nissan Arena (still to be confirmed in which competition the team will compete).

If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander netball player (must be aged between 15 to 18 years in 2023), and would like to participate in SCALA's 3-week IDPP training camp which will be held at Logan in Queensland, then you are encouraged to apply at the following link:
